I thought about posting this photo from 2005 several times, but never got around to it until now. It was taken with my first DSLR, the Canon Rebel, with the kit lens and (I think) +1, +2 and +4 filters attached -- which caused the vignetting. I was (and still am) fascinated by macro photography and I wanted to see what would happen with all three filters attached. The magnification was pretty good, but the image quality wasn't. The 18-55 kit lens has been in a box somewhere ever since I got the 24-70 lens, but I should dig it out one of these days just to use the bizarre second-hand 58mm kaleidoscopic filter.
