jamma masjid again
It's been three years now since I took this photo, and I clearly remember being there. We stayed long enough to walk around the courtyard, climb up and down a tower, and then off to Lal Quila (Red Fort) which is a short walk away. I want to go back and just sit there for an afternoon. Watching people come and go, people feeding the birds, the birds taking flight as a flock. Just relaxing in the sun. Probably even take a few photos.
One thing Canada really lacks is a decent place for people to just sit outdoors and watch or meet other people. Part of the problem is that Winter is far too cold for us to enjoy spending any length of time outdoors, so there's half the year where outdoor spaces are best avoided. The consensus seems to be that using the land for such a place isn't worth it for just the other half the year — unless it's a place to store cars.
