waiting

waiting

There was a time when I was excited by the hour and thirty-five minute ferry ride from Victoria to Vancouver but these days I wish the float plane (which only takes 30 minutes) was more affordable. Though endless blue ocean under a blue sky gives a great sense of how small we are and how huge our planet is, that sensation never translates into good photographs. I think the way the sky sometimes runs seamlessly into the ocean, like in this photo, is part of it.
