walking above the water

walking above the water

I've been going down to the beach on a fairly regular basis since I moved back to Victoria. I love the ocean, and every trip I see something different. Sometimes there are jellyfish, or seals, or maybe the driftwood logs have been rearranged. Sometimes the sea is calm, and sometimes it is stormy.

I used to go down to the ocean when I was young too, lifting up big rocks to find the little crabs underneath, or searching for little square tiles on a certain beach along the boardwalk. I also liked to walk across the big logs like they were balance beams, and sometimes I still do it even though I'm not a little child anymore because I still have a sense of curiosity and adventure.
