The Canadian dollar is worth more than the American dollar for the first time in over 30 years. Thanks Mr Bush, you're doing a great job!

I took this photo a few weeks ago on a weekend trip with my girlfriend to Seattle. Canadian money is obviously more colourful and apparently that makes it look like Monopoly Money, but after trying to count American money I came to appreciate how the colours make Canadian money easy to count. American money has a very rigid rectangular layout and I prefer the design of the Canadian money, but I'm biased.

When PhotoShop opened this image it warned me that the image contained money so printing would be disabled. They may have foiled my evil plan to make a hybrid 5 dollar bill with Canadian on one side and American on the other, but not my homage to thedailywtf.

I picked up a Canon G9 yesterday and I'm very happy with it. Aperture can't read the RAW files (hopefully Apple will fix that soon), but I'll try to post a photo from the G9 tomorrow.
