Normally, there are a few days or maybe a week of snow in Victoria sometime in January. Right at the beginning of December this year, we had a crazy snow storm that effectively shut the city down for a day because we don't have enough snow plows and proper winter tires. Of course, I was excited because I'm used to real winters and it was a great opportunity for taking photos such as this one.
