Now that I have a few years more experience and some better gear, I've been taking a few of my favourite old photos over again. The photo on the top is from a couple weeks ago and the one on the bottom was taken nearly three years ago with a Canon G2. I'm not happy with the dark shadows in the top photo and I wish I had used a reflector, but I'm happy with the colour and the background blur as well as the detail of the center of the flower (thanks to having a proper macro lens). I wonder what my photos will be like three years from now.
