There are three ways to create photos: photograph things you happen to find, photograph events such as concerts, or set up a studio and photograph models. The vast majority of my photos are found. I've photographed a few concerts or a friend's band, but never models. Found photos are the most fun because there's so much variety in the subjects and moods. I used to think I'd run out of things to photograph in my neighbourhood, but I've found more great subjects lately than I used to. Imagining a shot before it's taken really helps, particularly in choosing how to frame a particular subject. This picture framed itself.
